Farm to Feelings is a nutritional therapy practice based in New York City that aims to make seasonal ingredients and thoughtful recipes more accessible and stress-free. As the business expanded to provide dietary consultations and cooking classes, Farm to Feelings’ founder Andrea approached us to design a brand identity for Farm to Feelings, to coincide with the new extension to the service.
We created a punchy, fresh brand identity for Farm to Feelings that’s rooted in its mission to make health and nutrition more accessible to all.
Brand Identity Design
The Logo Design
The new logo is elegant yet approachable, and nuanced enough to stand out in the food world while still remaining timeless. The flower that stems from the crossbar of the “F” adds a botanical element that shows organic, holistic philosophy that Andrea puts into the food she makes.
Using citrus shades for the color palette keeps the brand youthful and contemporary, and these shades just so happen to apply to many other foods outside of citrus fruits.
Logo typeface: Hook by Jo Malinis
To add a more personal touch, we chose a handwritten typeface to evoke a feeling of warmth and familiarity -- something that one often feels when good cooking is involved. This is balanced out with a neutral typeface, Neue Haas Unica.
We also chose alternate fonts in the case that legibility is compromised, as well as Canva fonts that Farm to Feelings can use to further build upon her brand even long after the rebranding project is over.
Social Media Templates
Because Farm to Feelings has a strong social media presence, we designed Canva-compatible templates that Andrea can use to create recipe posts and stories.
We also created a repository of illustrations that can be easily dragged and dropped onto anything that is made for the brand such as presentation decks, social media posts, and blogs.
We put everything together into a comprehensive Brand Guideline for reference as Andrea continues to run her business.
